EUROMAR conferences are committed to a code of conduct.
Guidelines are provided to the conference Chair and their local organizing committee, who will use them as a foundation to draft the Conference Code of Conduct.
This Code will be clearly communicated before the event, made accessible throughout the conference (e.g., on the event website or as part of the registration process), and reiterated during the opening ceremony by the Chair.
The aim is to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
All conference participants—including attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and staff—are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
A well-crafted Code of Conduct will ensure that a conference is an enjoyable, productive, and inclusive experience for everyone involved.
The Code of Conduct promotes respectful communication, inclusivity, and professional behavior among all participants.
The Code of Conduct declares zero tolerance for any form of harassment and discrimination.
Any violation of the Code of Conduct should be reported to both the Conference Chair and the Chair of the BoT.
The Code of Conduct encourages participants to actively contribute to creating a positive and collaborative environment throughout the event.
